Senior Full Stack Engineer - iPaaS Automation

Our Workflow Automation team is looking for an energetic and experienced Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack who is passionate about creating high-performing, scalable, and resilient mission critical front-end applications and back-end services that are the foundation of Five9’s contact center platform. As a member of the team, you will take end-to-end ownership of an iPaaS solution to deliver services enriching our Contact Center platform and applications. In this highly visible and influential role your work will build the foundation to support the efforts of multiple teams. Your expert knowledge of building APIs will set the standard across the organisation by eliminating inconsistencies and streamlining the efficiency of our core services.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of an agile team to develop a scalable, highly available application platform.
• Participate and contribute to requirements analysis and grooming.
• Understand performance and scalability principles and apply when developing software.
• End-to-end feature development from UI implementation all the way through the middleware and backend platform.
• Document and communicate clearly architecture and implementation solutions.
• Work closely with product managers, testers and application architects.
• Troubleshoot and support current platform in production.

Requirements:

• 7+ years software development experience.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis.
• Ability to design scalable systems.
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful Services.
• Experience in applying design patterns and separating concerns in a distributed system.
• Experience in designing and implementing pub/sub asynchronous applications.
• Must be highly proficient in Java and JavaScript/Typescript.
• Knowledge and experience in building Spring Framework applications.
• Experience with Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript) and web standards (HTML5).
• Familiarity with client-side JavaScript Toolkits or frameworks such as React/Redux.
• Must have experience working within an Agile/Scrum team.
• Positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude with a strong-sense of ownership.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with building graph-based interfaces and D3 is a plus!
