You will be part of a small team of engineers responsible for providing automation services for infrastructure teams. These services will be part of the Five9 Private Cloud used by our application owners to quickly deploy and operate their applications. We’re looking for a self-motivated engineer looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or 6 years experience as a Python developer
- At least 2 to years Python Development experience
- Experience developing features in an agile development environment using either Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Willingness to be on call, including weekends
- 1-3 years’ experience developing backend APIs, FastAPI experience is preferred
- Experience with pipelines and deploying code into Kubernetes
- Be willing to participate in an on call rota
Nice to have:
- Experience with Ansible and deploying infrastructure
- Experience with OpenStack
