We are looking for an (Senior) Business Intelligence Project Manager (d/f/m). This is a fixed-term contract (maternity cover) for 1 year.

You will join our Analytics team with the mission to maximize value and insights generation using data. We are on the journey towards empowering our business with the right data, insights and tools. As part of this journey, you will create an impact by accelerating our self-service Analytics journey by leading the development & management of central data products in the company to meet the needs of the partners. You will take on the role as a (Senior) Business Intelligence Project Manager for our central data products.

We have a team set up with Analytics, Business, Product, and Technology and strive towards providing the best experience for our customers in meeting their mobility needs. You will be part of that team and simultaneously exchange across different Adevinta marketplaces around the world. Within these expert groups, we believe in sharing knowledge and developing standards and solutions for analysis, measurement, and reporting.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Requirements Engineering: Bridge technical and business needs, act as translator for understanding both the data capabilities and the business objectives

• Planning & Prioritization based on their potential growth and understanding of long-term strategic goals

• You will drive user adoption of data products by providing training, documentation, and support to end-users.

• You will champion data self-service culture, by active research and propose data-driven solutions, empower analysts by upskilling initiatives

• You will mentor teams to elevate data quality standards, provide guidance and mentorship to business teams/functions by fostering best practices, training, and helping team members develop the skills needed to use data and build data-centric solutions.

Your Profile:

• Min. 5+ professional experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics & Project Management

• Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and partners at multiple levels of the organization. Translate business needs to data engineers.

• Good understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices and use of relevant tooling for modeling ( e.g. LookML, Dbt)

• Data analysis: proficient in analyzing data to extract insights

• Proficiency in SQL

• Experience in BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)

• Understanding of data governance, security, and quality

• You have a desire to learn and grow within the data mesh domain.

• You understand the business landscape and how data can promote strategic decision-making.
