About the role

Our tight-knit Observability squad is made up of 5 talented engineers with complementary expertise in infrastructure, monitoring, logs, tracing. We come from diverse technical and cultural backgrounds, with many different nationalities (Spain, Poland, France,...).

As a critical initiative for our organization this year, we are building a cutting-edge Observability platform to help every product team build and operate reliable, resilient software. You'll get the chance to design and create instrumentation for a brand new microservices oriented global architecture from the ground up.

Our Observability squad is highly collaborative and encourages constant growth. As part of the team, you'll expand your technical skillset around cloud-native observability and infrastructure as code,  while having flexibility and ownership over your work.

What you will do

• Ensure high availability and performance of our Observability infrastructure.

• Deploy and configure new infrastructure components. This includes setup, installation, configuration based on specifications.

• Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code for provisioning, deployment, management.

• Support development teams in deploying and understanding their metrics, logs, and traces.

• Document architectures, configurations, policies related to infrastructure.

• Participate in on-call rotation for infrastructure incident response.

• Recommend and implement new infrastructure solutions for security, scalability, resilience.

What you’ll need

Skills:

• Expertise in Linux administration, containerization / Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, infrastructure monitoring/observability

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation,...)

• CI/CD pipelines and tools

• Nice to have : Programming skills (Python, Go, etc.) to develop infrastructure automation/tooling

Experience:

• 3+ years experience as a systems/infrastructure engineer or SRE

• Experience building, monitoring and supporting infrastructure in production environments at scale

• Working knowledge of observability tooling like Grafana, Datadog, etc.

• A team player who has a capacity for self-management, proactivity, adaptability to change and interest to grow

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
