What You’ll Do & Who You Are

The mission of the Sellers Performance team is to provide Sellers with the right tools to get the right visibility, attract the right buyers, generate the right discussions and sell as close as possible to their terms.

You will be part of product development team and report to the team Engineering Manager. Our team has all the roles necessary to deliver outstanding, customer-focused functionality—we just need you!

What You'll Do

• Work with your cross-functional team to understand the needs of Sellers and contribute to our mobile application to delivers value to our customers

• Collaborate with other engineers in the company to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile application

• Be a technical leader working in a team of leaders

• Promote engineering practices within the team and across the organisation, as a part of the Android chapter

• As an engineer, you’re not limited to Android, but will have the opportunity to collaborate with other technical stacks in our company 

• Work collaboratively in a hybrid work model (at least once a week in the office)

Who You Are

• You have 4+ years of experience in Android development, preferably Kotlin

• You practise clean coding principles to ensure code scalability and maintainability   

• Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as Test driven development, CI/CD, SOLID principles, etc.

• Good knowledge of the general Android landscape, architectures, design patterns, trends, and emerging technologies

• You have solid knowledge of networking, dependency injection, and multithreading in the Android environment

• You are practice clean coding principles to ensure code scalability and maintainability   

• You are familiar with experimentation, monitoring, and incremental value delivery 

• Good to have: Jetpack Compose, Android architecture component, at least one app released on Play Store

• You have experience working in an Agile, outcome-driven environment where you experiment, fail and iterate fast

• You have a continuous improvement mindset, challenging the status quo

• You are familiar with the T-shape skill development concept and willing to learn adjacent disciplines

• You already live in the Netherlands and are entitled to work here
