Senior Full Stack Engineer - Account Security

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Account Security pod, you will help us to improve the Roblox experience by guiding users to secure their accounts. We are looking for an experienced software engineer who can help us build features to prevent, detect, and mitigate account compromise. Account Security protects all types of Roblox users, from experienced developers to users accessing the internet for the first time. You will report to the Engineering Manager of the Account Security Pod within the Account Integrity Team.

You Will:

• Solve some of the most challenging adversarial problems in the world
• Implement features that allow users to secure their accounts and prevent compromise
• Build systems to detect and reduce account compromise on Roblox, which involves identifying suspicious activity in real-time, automatically intervening, and notifying users
• Build platform features to support product teams across the company in ensuring security in every part of Roblox
• Help define the team's roadmap and long-term strategy towards keeping accounts on Roblox safe
• Shape how the next generation of internet users interacts safely in the metaverse

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience as a backend engineer
• 4+ years of working experience with compiled languages such as Golang, C#, or Java
• 4+ years of familiarity with building scalable systems
• 4+ years of working knowledge of REST or gRPC APIs
• 4+ years of experience writing clear, readable, testable, and monitored code
