You will report to the Director of Engineering for Experience. The Revenue Engineering team at Pinecone is responsible for our usage based billing platform, inclusive of metering pipelines, vendor and marketplace integrations, discounting, invoicing, reconciliation, and the Dunning process.

As an Engineering Manager at Pinecone, you will drive the planning and execution for our revenue engineering roadmap. You’ll support a team of experienced engineers and help them do their best work in a critical area, and you’ll grow the team with world class talent.

Responsibilities: 

• Delivering improvements that make our billing system more performant, resilient and accurate 

• Planning with product and finance teams to ensure the roadmap is aligned with our business goals

• Grow a world class team of engineers and support them in doing the best work of their career

• Develop and improve processes that ensure consistent delivery against objectives and drive strong alignment across engineering, product and field

• Evolve the organizational structure to meet long term objectives

What we look for:

• 3+ years of experience leading teams of 5+ people

• Experience with usage based billing

• Familiarity with distributed systems
