Senior Software Engineer - Studio Engineering Productivity

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in the Studio Engineering Productivity Team, you will take a prime role in building an outstanding product used by 2 millions users every month around the world. You will lead the release pipeline, including early stage testing, design, implementation and maintenance of Roblox Studio complex test automation framework. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work in the HQ in San Mateo, CA 3 days a week (Tuesdays to Thursdays).

You Have:

• 7+ years experienced in design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of complex test automation systems
• Excitement about building an entertainment product for people of all ages
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Python or Lua
• Proficiency with Quality standards, best practices and patterns

You Will:

• Work as an integral part of team making a professional IDE used to develop thousands of games and experiences
• Plan and implement complex test scenarios, including multi-user distributed automated testing
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
• Ensure execution of test suites with Roblox Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems
• Own the release pipeline, track performance metrics, optimize product verification and release processes, and collaborate with DevOps and other SDET engineers across teams and projects.
• Led end-to-end development, launch, and support of a tool or system used by other developers at scale. 
• Enforce high code quality standards, architectural designs, and long-term solutions and tooling
