As a Sr. Software Test Engineer – Mobile Apps, you will be asked to test the next generation of our product. This is a hands-on role which requires coding. Our product suite spans from medical devices that a patient wears, to mobile apps, up to our back-end servers so this is a challenging task, and one that requires very critical thinking to ensure the system performs well

A Day in the Life

• Design and builds framework to test the next generation mobile architecture for iOS or Android
• Develops technologies across iOS, Android, and Web, paired with continuous build and test with various system tools.
• Work closely with software development, product engineering, product marketing, quality and the systems teams to ensure the product works properly from end-to-end, both pre and post-release.
• Utilizes test automation frameworks to include Appium and Selenium.
• Be an expert in one of the following languages: Objective-C, C++, Swift, Java, JavaScript, Python
• Have a deep understanding in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
• Be familiar with Agile processes, Atlassian suite of tools.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Designs, develops, debugs and implements software test frameworks and test scripts
• Determines required level of testing based on software requirements.
• Develop test plans and protocols in accordance with regulatory environments.
• Partner with software development as part of sprint development.
• Coordinate test activities with our vendor partners.
• Work in an agile/scrum environment.

• 4+ years of experience in mobile app development with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences
• 2+ years of experience in mobile app development with a Master’s degree in Engineering or Sciences

• 4+ years experience in mobile BLE communication on iOS or Android
• Experience developing automated test tools for commercial software products
• Experience coordinating with remote teams
• Experience working in a regulated industry
• Experience in cross-platform technologies such as Flutter or ReactNative
• Strong attention to detail
• Good written and oral communication skills.
