Senior Devops Engineer (Voice)

Five9 is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for the automated deployment of voice technologies in company datacenters and public cloud, with a focus on improving. As a Senior DevOps engineer you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of a highly efficient, highly scalable IaC tooling.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure observability of all components of Five9’s voice platform which are deployed across diverse environments including GCP, AWS, VMware, Openstack and Kubernetes
• Create dashboards using Grafana
• Ensure all components have proper logging
• Collaborate with the development and deployment teams to define and implement SLIs SLOs
• Comfortable with building automated environments with Infrastructure as code
• Motivated engineer who will own, operate, and maintain IaC services in a distributed production environment, employing Agile methodologies to continuously deliver value
• Initiate projects for voice platform improvements
• Analyze history of network related incidents and work towards new standards and automated processes to 
  prevent repeat incidents 
• Create handoffs for new deployments to Five9’s operational teams
• Support operations teams as needed
• Maintain a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-moving environment to foster a collaborative spirit and help cultivate 
  modern development best practices
• Be an advocate for our customers

Qualifications:

• Experience with observability tools and practices, including Telegraf, Grafana and Prometheus
• Proficiency in Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab pipelines or equivalent technologies
• Experience with scripting (bash, python, go, etc)
• Experience with public cloud providers such as GCP, AWS, etc.
• Proficient with Unix/Linux including CLI
• Experience with REST API and web services
• Background in voice/network automation
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• 3+ years of experience on a service provider network in engineering, development, or operations roles
