DESCRIPTION

As a CAPEX Project Manager Facility Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects that advance our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you will manage strategic initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget and quality parameters.

These aren't greenfield projects, but rather projects within existing buildings. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to drive project execution while building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. This position requires someone who can navigate ambiguity, guide teams effectively, and succeed in a matrix environment. Your project management expertise and leadership will be critical in delivering impactful results that support business growth and operational excellence.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years' work experience in a Facilities Management, Maintenance or Engineering environment is a must; including strong experience in Project Management
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building engineering
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Knowledge on GMP guidelines for qualification and operation of assets
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues
• Displays a deep understanding of technology, industry, and market
• Knowledge and experience in building technology are essential.
• Fluent in English and German is a must
