Designer, Product Development and Merchandising (Graphic / Packaging Design)

Description

This position will assist the manager in handling the design and development for apparel trims, accessories and packaging.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct trend research and present on design ideas.
• Provide graphic design, illustration and artwork support to manager for garment trims and accessories, quarterly line review collections and seasonal collections for key customers.
• Handle sample follow-up from artwork to production.
• Design and develop product display, visual merchandising for showrooms and visual communication materials
• Perform ad-hoc duties, projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above, preferably in Graphic Design/ Fashion Design/ 3D Design or related disciplines
• At least 3 years’ experience working within the textile or apparel industry
• Proficient in design software (e.g. Adobe Design Suite) and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere)
• Demonstrated experience with 3D design software (e.g. CLO/ Rhino/ 3DMax) is highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Creative, detail-minded, independent and able to work under pressure
• Flexible to travel to China frequently
• Agility and willingness to Learn and Re-Learn
