Role Summary/Purpose:

The AVP, COP Transformation Project Manager is responsible for driving process and project management for the Client Oversight Program (COP) Transformation office. This crucial role will partner across the Client Oversight program as well as cross-functionally across all levels of the organization to simultaneously ideate, build, and launch initiatives related to client oversight. The enhancements and program optimization will drive critical outcomes to ensure the safety and soundness of our client oversight. The role requires strong planning and project/program management skills coupled with the ability to work cross functionally and across multiple lines of defense, to drive multiple functions/workstreams/teams toward the successful on-time completion of identified key initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management for enhancements and transformational initiatives for the Client Oversight Program, inclusive of planning, execution, and communications.

  • Establish and deploy a common project/program management processes and tools such as detailed project plans, critical path milestone tracking, risk management, and other collaboration tools.

  • Develop and manage rigorous project management and control plans, working closely with process owners, project teams, subject matter experts, project sponsors, champions and senior management to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

  • Facilitate communication of project status spanning across CD & Sales Governance or across functions, including preparation of management presentations.

  • Support development of new in-take process to scope new client oversight opportunities including evaluation, analysis, prioritization, and research resulting in proposed adoption and integration plans.

  • Maintain COP documentation including Job Aids, Process maps, Procedure, etc.

  • Proactively seek process improvements and foster an innovation culture; enhance our test and learn processes and quicken speed to market.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, a high school diploma and a minimum 5+ years’ experience working in CD & Sales, Risk Management, Audit, Marketing, or related areas.

  • 3+ years demonstrated cross-functional Project Management experience.

  • 3+ years demonstrated strong analytic, business presentation and people influencing skills in a large client focused organization.

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and summarize project status updates clearly and concisely to senior management

  • Proven ability to work independently yet as key member and contributor to a broader team

  • Previous work experience in the SYF Sales and Marketing organizations

  • Knowledge and/or experience with CD/Sales processes and controls

Grade/Level: 11

                                                                                      

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

                                 

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
