Job Description

The job at a glance 

Working in the Ecommerce and Digital department you will report into the Senior Ecommerce & Digital Manager. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting seamless user journeys and maintaining the aesthetic integrity of our web pages. Your responsibilities will encompass both UX design and front-end development, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. This position demands agility, as you'll be immersed in a dynamic environment, supporting our team's efforts in customer acquisition and retention strategies.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of our online presence. If you're passionate about creating engaging web experiences and possess a blend of development and UI/UX design skills, we want to hear from you.

Your responsibilities

• Utilise your UX expertise to design and optimise landing pages, product pages, and various web components.
• Develop pixel-perfect front-end websites and pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Conduct A/B tests to  optimise web content based on insights, leveraging in-house programs.
• Participate in project planning and management decisions, aligning with stakeholders' needs.
• Contribute to process enhancements within the team, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

 Your skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in front-end development roles with a strong portfolio of sites/component designs (2+ years).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on strong design skills and UX experience.
• Familiarity with standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, XD) and collaborative/markup tools (Figma, Zeplin).
• Solid understanding of web content accessibility standards and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
