Backend Engineer (DilMil)

Now, we are looking for a Backend Engineer for one of our products.

Your main tasks are:

• Work with the Lead Engineer in the development and maintenance of backend services, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Work collaboratively with the product/front-end team to integrate new client features.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Develop APIs to implement new features and functionalities to enhance user engagement.
• Write unit tests to achieve good code coverage and maintain code quality.

What we expect from you:

• Proficient coding in Python, with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong background in developing and consuming APIs, experience with microservices is a plus.
• Experience with Python frameworks like Flask, Django or Fast API.
• Skilled working with AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2s, Elastic Beanstalk, lambda, S3, RDS etc)
• Experience with RDBMS like MySQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like Redis, Memcached.
  

Nice to have:

• Good understanding and working knowledge of unix and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Docker, Lua Scripting and bloom filters are a plus.
