Job Description

We are currently seeking a Assistant Manager Engineering (HVAC) to join our vibrant team. At Radisson Blu Galle Sri Lanka, we are in search of individuals who go beyond the resume – those with character, skills, talents, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. As a Assistant Manager Engineering (HVAC) you play a vital role in ensuring our properties deliver an experience beyond expectation, creating memorable moments for our guests.

• Familiar and complies with the hotels mission and standards in performing maintenance activities.
• Maximize maintenance team potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, employee and owners satisfaction.
• Oversee the maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion..
• Ensure proper records are kept relating to all plant and equipment for the hotel including repair and service records.
• Ensure property, grounds, physical plant and work areas are maintained to standard and that all safety equipment and conditions are to code.
• Train engineering department staff on correct maintenance procedures and assists in repairs as needed

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience with reputed hospitality brands and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in international star class hotels overseas.
• Technical Diploma in engineering or HVAC field.
• Expert knowledge on centralized Chiller plants and refrigeration and air-conditioning and TFA ls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership to manage diverse group of professionals working on projects in Hospitality.
• Ability to work independently with positive attitude in team environment.
