What we are looking for

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (4–8 years of experience) with expertise in Selenium Automation Testing and Data Testing. This individual will play a key role in building the testing layer at ProcDNA by designing robust automation frameworks, validating complex data pipelines, and ensuring high-quality software releases across multiple technology stacks.

Beyond executing test cases, we are looking for someone who can bring a strong testing culture, establish best practices, and work closely with engineering, data, and product teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Selenium.
• Develop automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Perform comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across databases, ETL pipelines, APIs, and reporting solutions.
• Create SQL-based validation scripts for large datasets.
• Build automated data validation processes for modern data platforms.
• Define test strategies, test plans, and quality standards for new products and enhancements.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and product teams to identify quality risks early.
• Drive defect management by identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying issue resolution.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance.
• Measure and report test coverage, automation effectiveness, and release quality metrics.
• Establish QA best practices and contribute towards building ProcDNA's long-term testing capability.

What You'll Need

• 4–8 years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver using Java or Python.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Data Testing methodologies.
• Excellent SQL skills with experience validating complex datasets.
• Experience testing ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting solutions.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
