What You Will Do
As a UI DevSecOps Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces and software solutions that support critical missions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create responsive, secure, and interactive applications that meet user and operational requirements. Your work will directly contribute to delivering innovative and effective solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Develop user-facing software applications, web applications, or graphical user interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.
Design and implement responsive and interactive user interfaces that enhance user experience.
Integrate user interfaces with RESTful APIs and backend services to deliver seamless functionality.
Develop software applications using Python, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to software development principles.
Utilize Git or similar source control systems and collaborative workflows to manage codebases effectively.
Work within Linux development environments to build, test, and deploy applications.
Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, to translate user and operational requirements into robust software solutions.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
Experience developing user-facing software applications, web applications, or graphical user interfaces.
Experience with modern front-end development technologies, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.
Experience developing responsive and interactive user interfaces.
Experience integrating user interfaces with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Experience developing software applications using Python.
Familiarity with Git or similar source control systems and collaborative software development workflows.
Experience working in Linux development environments.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience designing or implementing UI/UX workflows, dashboards, data visualization, or interactive applications.
GUI development experience using Qt/PyQt.
Experience working with design tools such as Figma or collaborating directly with UI/UX designers.
Experience developing applications that display and interact with large, complex, or real-time datasets.
Experience with Python data science and analytics libraries, including Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
Experience developing supporting backend services using Python, C++, or similar languages.
Familiarity with Git, GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with automated UI testing or frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
