The team you will be a part of

The successful candidate will be given real-world experience working with a large-scale, real-time embedded system. You will be able to learn from a seasoned team of software engineers as you contribute to new features and product improvements on the 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) or Nokia 1830 Global Express (GX). As well, you will get exposure to working in a global multicultural development organization.

Education Recommendations

A candidate for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada. 

 

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing software for a large-scale, real-time embedded system. You will work closely with a team of experienced software engineers, contributing directly to feature enhancements and product improvements for Nokia’s 1830 Photonic Service Switch or Nokia 1830 Global Express (GX). As part of a global, multicultural development organization, you will deepen your technical skills and gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your contributions will support the delivery of reliable and innovative solutions that help maintain Nokia’s leadership in optical networking technologies.
