Job Description

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Mid-Level Web Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in application development, with strong expertise in .NET Framework / Modern .NET, VB.NET / C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Blazor, and web development. The successful candidate will bring strong debugging skills, object-oriented programming experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or above.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET Framework and Modern .NET.
• Design and develop solutions using VB.NET and C#.
• Build and maintain applications using ASP.NET and Blazor.
• Develop and maintain Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or above databases and stored procedures.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles to application development.
• Develop web interfaces using JavaScript-related technologies, HTML5, and Bootstrap.
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or above for application development and debugging.
• Apply application development frameworks and methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues to ensure reliable system performance.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft IIS.
• Work with XML for application integration and data exchange.
• Apply Microsoft Patterns and Practices to support consistent application design.
• Use Microsoft Enterprise Library where applicable.
• Support development and delivery activities through Azure DevOps Server/Services.
• Apply strong software development and testing practices to maintain application quality.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and technical teams to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bring a minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with strong experience across .NET Framework / Modern .NET, VB.NET, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with Blazor, Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or above, stored procedures, and web development.
• Demonstrate strong object-oriented programming and debugging skills, with experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or above.
• Demonstrate experience with JavaScript-related technologies, HTML5, Bootstrap, XML, and Microsoft IIS.
• Bring experience with application development frameworks and methodologies, including Microsoft Patterns and Practices.
• Demonstrate experience with Reporting Services 2016 or above.
• Bring experience with Azure DevOps Server/Services and Microsoft Enterprise Library.
• Have experience with microservices architecture, with Kotlin experience considered an advantage.
