We are looking for a strong Database Developer who will develop robust enterprise technology solutions and drive phenomenal growth for the company. The Developer will work independently to learn, maintain, and enhance existing applications as well as develop new code to accomplish business needs for data analysis and automation. The developer will work with other developers and business team members in developing and supporting important applications. The developer will be responsible for ongoing development projects and supporting legacy applications, working integrally and very closely with the Development Managers, Operations & Business Solutions.

Total relevant IT experience: 5 to 8 years.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Participates in a team-based, scrum development environment.
Adheres to established Douglas County best practices, standards and agreed upon design patterns for data and reporting application development and support.
Analyses and understands business users' requirements, clarifying inconsistencies, conflicts, or ambiguities, to effectively develop solutions that meet business needs.
Responsible for the design, development, test, release, maintenance, and technical support of custom data applications such as data pipelines/ETLs/data processing/APIs.
Responsible for the design, development, test, release, maintenance, and technical support of data analysis reports and dashboards using Power BI and paginated reports using SSRS.
Performs data modelling and database design for data and reporting applications as well as other applications as needed.
Performs analysis, design and implementation of data migration as needed.
Participates in design/code reviews.
Performs SQL Server database administration in the development environment.
Defines physical server environment including capacity planning for
Evaluates techniques and design patterns and makes recommendations that will improve solution delivery.
Corrects reported incidents on data and reporting applications and releases fixes through the change control processes.
Conducts proof of concept to guide technical implementation as needed.
Required Knowledge and Skills:Proficient in developing solutions using SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored procedures, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
Well versed in developing data models and reports with Power BI.
Proficient in performing system and/or integration testing.
Proficient in Javascript and any modern Javascript frame work like React or VUE or Angular
Skilled in performing system analysis and design.
Proficient in applying critical thinking skills in problem solving.
Skilled in communicating with functional teams of different technical experience.
Working knowledge on AWS eco-system – S3, RDS, SQS etc is a plus
Strong in writing complex SQL Queries, Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning.

Good to have skilled in scripting using Python and Power Shell.

C# programming knowledge
US Healthcare Domain experience
Experience working in agile teams.
Qualification: 

B.E/B.Tech, MCA, ME/M.Tech in Computer Science
