Engineer II, Software Development

Job Description:

Work closely with the development team to help drive the API development effort. Design and develop software that meet the current and future requirements. Ensure the system will meet quality, security, and scalability needs. Exercise independent judgment to solve challenges inherent in application development.
Strong communication skills, analytical skills, and presentation skills.

Required Skills:

• Experience with API development platform.
• Strong hands-on experience on .NET Core, C#, REST, JSON, WEB API, Unit Test frameworks, SQL queries.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns and solid Principles.
• In line with the current latest developments with Microsoft and Web stacks.
• Experience with SDLC/PDLC and Agile based scrum team.

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to US HealthCare domain and Nextgen Enterprise API knowledge.
• Experience with NextGen Ambulatory software and HL7 FHIR standards.
• Knowledge of medical terminologies, data models and coding systems.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science OR equivalent degree.
