The team:
The nuPlan team introduces and advances new Deep Learning techniques for our Motion Planner. Team members develop an advanced machine learning infrastructure to build and train models, integrate them into existing motion planners, and write production-level software.

What You'll Do:
- Contribute to cutting-edge motion planning systems and deep learning system
- Contribute to an automated distributed pipeline to train, evaluate and deploy machine learning models to the vehicle
- Software design and development of scaling ML infrastructure
- Perform data mining to find interesting and impactful data
- Research metrics and model introspection
- Contribute to technical strategy, conduct code reviews
- Deploy models on vehicles and evaluate their performance with metrics
- Work closely with the production Motion Planning and Controls team to identify places where a data-driven deep learning approach is beneficial.
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years of relevant Python or C++ experience
- PyTorch or Tensorflow or any other DL framework
- Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles including software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews, and testing methods.
- Experience designing, training, analyzing, and deploying neural networks.
- A degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field with experience
- Passion for self-driving technology and its potential impact on the world
- You believe that you can achieve more on a team -- that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts
