We're looking for a Senior Calibration Engineer with a passion for innovation and a drive to push the boundaries of what's possible. In this role, you'll work with a team of experts developing cutting-edge autonomous vehicle systems, and you'll have the opportunity to design and implement calibration strategies that will help shape the future of transportation. What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement advanced calibration applications for autonomous vehicle systems, pushing the boundaries of performance and safety
- Analyze and interpret data to continuously improve vehicle performance, ensuring that our vehicles are among the safest and most efficient on the road
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate calibration solutions into our vehicles, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to enhance our calibration strategies
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in calibration for autonomous vehicles (and/or robotic systems), with a track record of success in designing and implementing advanced calibration strategies
- Strong knowledge of sensor technology (LiDARs, Radars, IMU, Cameras), calibration methods and tools
- Strong experience with modern C++ features, CMake, Boost and unit testing frameworks
- Expertise in one (or more) of the following fields: SLAM, machine learning, multi-modal sensor calibration, probabilistic robotics
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI tools or cloud-based applications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
