Responsibilities

Ready To Own Product Features End-to-End on a Platform That Members Rely on for Their Health?

 

Why This Role Matters

This role sits at the core of product delivery — independently building features, resolving production issues, and bringing real technical depth to sprint planning. You work alongside Tech Leads across the full development cycle, which means your decisions shape what ships and how it holds up in production. The platform you're building serves members managing their health, so reliability and craftsmanship aren't optional.

 

What You'll Actually Do

 

Design and ship platform features: Build, test, and enhance new components and features for web platforms using Java, Kotlin, and Angular as a member of a product delivery team.

Contribute to sprint planning: Participate in refinement, planning, and kick-off ceremonies — estimating stories, surfacing technical complexity, and defining implementation details before work begins.

Monitor and respond to production incidents: Proactively watch production systems and take ownership of incident response when issues arise.

Write robust, well-tested code: Automate and unit-test code to handle edge cases, usability scenarios, and general reliability requirements.

Apply AI across the development lifecycle: Use AI tooling actively throughout design, development, and testing to produce better software faster.

 

Qualifications

What You Bring to Our Team

Education & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a software engineering role
• Demonstrated ability to independently implement complex product features

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin
• Experience with Angular or comparable frontend framework
• Familiarity with unit testing, test automation, and edge case coverage
• Experience with production monitoring and incident response
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools applied across the SDLC
