Junior Software Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated and talented Junior Software Engineer to join our growing technology team.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious developer to work on a real fintech product and contribute to the development of digital wallet, mobile application, APIs and payment services.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain features for the digital wallet platform
• Assist in developing backend services and APIs
• Contribute to mobile and web application development
• Integrate APIs and third-party services under the guidance of senior engineers
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
• Participate in testing, debugging and troubleshooting
• Fix bugs and improve existing application features
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Use Git and follow the team’s development workflow
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Follow secure coding and data-protection practices
• Work closely with Senior Engineers, UI/UX Designers and other technology team members
• Assist with technical documentation
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and development practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
• 0–2 years of professional software development experience
• Good understanding of programming fundamentals
• Familiarity with backend, web or mobile development
• Basic understanding of APIs and databases
• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and software-development principles
• Basic knowledge of testing and debugging
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and receive feedback
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Arabic & English communication skills
