Job Description:

Title: Mobile Engineer

Duration: Full time

Location: Reston, VA

Client: Direct Client

Role Responsibilities: 

• Deliver on assigned software design, development, testing, and documentation tasks; 

• Work closely with a team to integrate designs, components, and ideas together; 

• Apply software development best practices to development and configuration management tasks; 

• Strive to improve capabilities, pick up new technology and programming languages, look to add value; 

• Escalate issues to management team.

Qualifications

Requirements:

 5 years IT experience with a product focus;

 B.S. in CS/Engineering or equivalent;

 Java, J2EE, Web Services, JavaScript;

 Spring dependency injection (not Spring MVC), and Hibernate frameworks;

 Extensive experience in Web Services, middleware applications, application servers, and database technologies;

 Experience with scripting languages;

 SVN, ANT, Maven, Jira (or equivalent);

 Experience with mobile technologies is a plus.
