About the role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong focus on Product and Project Management with technical background to join our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities
- Project Management:
- Develop comprehensive project scopes and objectives, engaging all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress using advanced tools and systems.
- Implement change management techniques to address shifts in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Plan, execute, and manage projects by coordinating internal teams and external partners/vendors to ensure flawless execution.
- Technical Oversight:
- Leverage IT tools and systems to measure project performance and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Perform technical feasibility assessments to ensure solutions align with business objectives and industry standards.
- Conduct risk management to identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical and operational risks.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to drive project success.
- Sales and Technical Collaboration:
- Collaborate with technical, sales, marketing, underwriting, and finance teams to ensure seamless alignment of project and business goals.
- Assist in preparing and coordinating sales materials and activities to drive business growth.
- Industry and Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a solid understanding of the insurance industry, including products, trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Other Duties:
- Support ad hoc initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. Project Management certification is a plus.
- At least 5 years of product management experience, with a strong technical background. Experience in IT, insurance, or financial services industries preferred.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) and performance analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with AI tools and workflows (e.g., LLMs/SLMs, AI-assisted workflows and rapid prototyping, automated documentation etc) to enhance product discovery, project efficiency, and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, risk management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Strategic thinking and leadership with a sense of entrepreneurship and strong passion for success and independence.
- Result-oriented, can operate within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage and influence in a matrix organization (cross-functional) with multiple stakeholders and levels of alignment including senior business leaders
- Strong analytical, communication, fast learner, and ability to work under pressure
- Experience in Agile product development and teams (Confluence and Jira); a strong plus
