Job Title: Junior Data Analyst (Extra-curricular Intern)

Job Location: Milan (Italy)

Contract Type: 6-Month Internship (Path to Full-Time employment)

Compensation: €1,000 gross/month

About the Role & Program

Kickstart your career with Huawei Italy’s Graduate Program. This intensive 6-month internship is designed to develop the next generation of ICT leaders. You will work alongside industry experts, gain hands-on experience in market intelligence, commercial data analysis, and cross-border business alignment, transitioning directly into a full-time role upon successful completion.

Main Responsibilities

• Strategic Market Analysis: Monitor Telco and ICT market trends (5G, Cloud, IP, Optical) to identify business growth opportunities and support commercial strategies for key accounts.

• Sales Performance Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, including Project Pipeline (PPL), Purchase Orders (PO), and market share across key verticals (ISP, Finance, Healthcare, Retail).

• Project Lifecycle Support: Assist sales management with operational project tracking, deal registrations, and contract execution alignment.

• KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain statistical models and dashboard reporting for key performance metrics, tracking revenue targets, sales volume, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Fresh Graduate or Current Student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, Management Engineering, or a related field. The graduation date should ideally be approximately 6-12 months before or after the internship start date.

• Analytical Passion: Strong foundational interest in data analysis, statistical modeling, business intelligence, and ICT commercial operations.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and high emotional intelligence for international team environments.

• Languages: Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Italian, and English for effective cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management.

• Work Authorization: Must hold valid authorization to live and work in Italy.
