In this position...

Ford Pro is looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) to join our digital product design team.

The initial focus of this role will be the Ford Pro App, a key part of the Ford Pro digital ecosystem used by fleet managers and drivers to understand vehicle status, manage fleet operations and take action while on the move.

We are entering an important phase in the evolution of the app. As Ford Pro brings more of its products and services together, the app is evolving beyond its origins as a telematics companion toward a broader mobile experience connecting customers with capabilities across the Ford Pro ecosystem.

You will help shape that evolution.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)  who is comfortable taking ownership of large, ambiguous product problems, creating clarity where the path is not yet defined and turning complex customer and business needs into simple, coherent experiences.

You will work as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering, helping define problems and influence product direction—not simply responding to requirements. You should be comfortable moving between experience strategy, information architecture, user journeys, interaction design, prototyping and detailed production UI.

This role requires strong systems thinking. Ford Pro is a large ecosystem of products, services, customer types, permissions, subscriptions and vehicle experiences. You will need to understand how those pieces connect and design experiences that work as part of a broader system rather than as isolated features.

While native mobile experience is highly valuable, we are ultimately looking for an exceptional product designer. This role may also contribute to web or cross-platform initiatives as the needs of the organization evolve.

This is a remote role, working closely with distributed Product, Engineering, Research, Data and Design teams. 

Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to commute to the office four or more days/ week.

 

Senior Product Designer (UX/ UI) We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to help shape the next generation of Ford Pro digital experiences. Your primary focus will be the Ford Pro App, where you will play a central role in evolving the product from a telematics companion into a broader mobile entry point to the Ford Pro ecosystem. You will own complex product problems from discovery through delivery, working closely with Product, Engineering, Research and other Design teams. This is a remote, senior individual-contributor role suited to someone who is highly autonomous, comfortable with ambiguity, and equally strong in product thinking, interaction design and visual craft. While the initial focus is mobile, opportunities may span web and other connected Ford Pro experiences as priorities evolve.
