Senior Product Designer(Maternity Leave Cover)

Location: Tel Aviv (IL) (IL)

Description

About DoorLoop

DoorLoop is property management software built for speed and the smart choice for people who take growth seriously. With offices in Miami, New York City, and Tel Aviv, we're a global company helping property owners and managers move faster, scale smarter, and get real support, real fast.

We're proudly People First. That's why we're a Certified Great Place to Work, recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Startup Employers in both 2024 and 2025, and earn top ratings on Glassdoor.

Mission

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who owns problems from the first customer conversation to the shipped, measured result. You don't wait for a spec — you go find the problem, explore it from several angles, and prove your direction with prototypes and real users. You think like a design engineer: you prototype and build real, working experiences, test ideas early, and understand how products get built and shipped. And you sweat the details — the empty states, the edge cases, the last 10% that makes a product feel right. This is a maternity leave replacement role for 6 months. You'll step into an established product area with full ownership from day one, so you'll need to ramp up fast and keep momentum going.

Requirements

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on product design experience.
  • Demonstrated success delivering user impact in SaaS product design, ideally in B2B environments.
  • Portfolio showcasing measurable impact through launched web or mobile applications.
  • Hands-on research experience: you've planned and run customer interviews and usability tests, and can show how they changed a decision.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and outcomes with cross-functional teams in agile product environments.
  • A habit of exploring several options before converging — and the judgment to explain why one wins.
  • Ability to communicate complex design ideas clearly in English with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong systems thinking: comfortable working within and extending a design system, and designing data-heavy workflows (tables, forms, settings, permissions).
  • Clear, confident communication in English with PMs, developers and stakeholders, in writing and live.

Nice to have

  • Big plus: banking or accounting background. You've designed for banking, payments or accounting products and understand ledgers, reconciliation, and the precision that financial workflows demand.
  • You've shipped production front-end code or design system components (Storybook, tokens, Code Connect).
  • You've designed AI-powered features — agents, automations, or assistive flows — and thought hard about trust and control.
  • Experience in proptech or other operational software where accuracy matters.
  • You've worked in an AI-assisted dev workflow where developers ship quickly and design has to keep pace.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product design for specific, high-priority features/improvements, collaborating from initial concept through launch within the cover period.
  • Work directly with PM, engineering, and QA teams to design and deliver user-centric solutions aligned with specific business objectives.
  • Use insights from user research to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for prioritized projects.
  • Apply and advocate for DoorLoop’s design system standards across all deliverables, ensuring visual and functional consistency.
  • Get every detail right. Define states, edge cases, interactions, copy and responsive behavior. Review what ships and push it until it matches the intent.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering. Shape the roadmap with your PM, work side by side with developers, and co-own outcomes — not just deliverables.
  • Measure and iterate. Define success metrics, look at the data after launch, and keep improving.
  • Raise the bar for the team. Contribute to our design system, share your process in critiques, and mentor other designers.

Benefits

What We Offer

  • Hybrid work model (4 days in office, 1 WFH day)
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Cibus meal card
  • Private health insurance subsidy
  • Pension, Keren Hishtalmut & Dmei Havraa
  • Real impact at scale — product used daily by thousands of paying customers
  • Certified Great Place to Work · Forbes America's Best Startup Employers 2024 & 2025
