About the team

FIS Digital One encompasses several integrated banking modules that will deliver an omni- channel banking experience for our customers and their employees, with a unified user experience and real-time access to customer, account and transactional data across all banking channels.

What you will be doing

• Manage Multi Cloud Kubernetes Engineering environments used for upgrade and feature development and testing 
• Develop and maintain programs, scripts, Kubernetes controllers, cluster APIs, that aid in the operation and automation of tasks using various shell and scripting languages (YAML, Json, bash, Python, and Go).
• Documenting functional product solutions as well as key FIS financial services opportunities.
• Designing a scalable, secure, high performance core service layer, integrating it with the cloud orchestration and monitoring, authoring the code and automating the deployment (CI/CD).
• Maintaining a catalogue of reusable functional application components relevant for applications and product lines.
• Cross-team collaboration with lines of business and operations to develop new functionality.

What you bring:

• 6+ Years of experience in Devops and Kubernetes.
• CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or CNCF Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Extensive experience with tools like git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
• Working knowledge of Ansible & Docker
• Experience in design, build, and optimize applications containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience maintaining continuous integration software is required, such as Bamboo, Jenkins
• Experience with build tools such as Maven, ANT, GRUNT
• Experience with Unix/Shell scripting and PowerShell scripting
• Hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines using one or more of the following: Jenkins, ArgoCD, Github Actions, JenkinsX etc
• Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques
• Expertise with end-to-end systems development life cycles and a background leading large projects.
• Proficient to expert scripting and automation skills converting manual and maintenance functions into fully orchestrated automation.
• Experience designing and implementing platforms that host shared services on vSphere, OpenStack, Nutanix, BareMetal builds

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS stack
• A keen interest in Cloud architectures, technologies, and trends
• Basic programming skills are a must, as scripting /automation is a key part of the job
• Exposure to Yaml, PowerShell, Terraform, XML, JSON
• Experience in DevOps concepts and technologies (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins or Harness)
