Senior Full Stack Engineer

Position Description: 

Designs, develops, and delivers high-quality, secure, dependable applications at high velocity utilizing dev-sec-ops best practices. Develops applications from scratch and builds robust technical solutions using technical tools like Java, AWS, and Microsoft Power Platform. Contributes to development process enhancements, code reviews, innovation and builds end-to-end technical solutions, including deployment pipelines. Delivers services in support of a broader technology roadmap. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts. 

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.  

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis. 

• Participating in architecture design for common technical and information services. 

• Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. 

• Works on complex assignments supporting multiple phases of a project, including testing and Production deployment. 

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. 

• Responsible for post-installation testing/bug fixes of any problems. 

• Provides comprehensive documentation for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.  

• Collaborate with stakeholders, both onshore and offshore, across the IT organization and business as needed and mentor junior team members. 

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing end-to-end software solutions using Java, AWS, Power Platform and Database Technologies (Oracle, SQL Server) in a financial services environment.  

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing end-to-end software solutions using Java, AWS, Power Platform and Database Technologies (Oracle, SQL Server) in a financial services environment. 

Skills and Knowledge: 

Candidate must also possess: 

• Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing, building and migrating enterprise-wide applications using Microsoft Power Platform Canvas and Model-Driven applications connecting to dataverse as a backend, that is responsive to various devices; Developing custom connectors, APIs and flows using Microsoft Power Automate and implementing business process flows using Microsoft Power Apps; Creating reporting capabilities using Microsoft Power BI; Customizing complex process via JavaScript and querying data using XRM Toolbox. 

• DE developing web applications using JavaScript, Java, and Spring Boot; Implementing microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot that are deployed as automated, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure with established software development lifecycle process; Performing manual testing using Postman. 

• DE building middle-tier applications using Amazon Web Services Cloud technology (EC2, S3, VPC and API gateway) to enable real-time communication with dependent applications, Configuring Monitoring and Observability for applications with tools -- Datadog, Azure Application Insights and Azure Log Analytics. 

• DE designing and configuring Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Git, Maven, Artifactory, and Jenkins for deploying applications built using Java, Power Platform, or Angular and hosted on Cloud Solutions -- AWS and Azure; Participating in all phases of the project - analyzing, designing, implementing, performing code reviews, functional testing and post-installation validation - according to Agile methodologies using JIRA and Git. 

Salary: $133,300.00 - $143,300.00/year.
