As a Webflow Designer at DigitalOcean, you'll be at the forefront of designing compelling, intuitive, and visually stunning web experiences. You will be instrumental in shaping the look and feel of our online presence, ensuring our high-performance GPUs and AI/ML offerings are presented in the most engaging and informative way. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop responsive websites using Webflow, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
  • Create mock-ups on tools like Figma/Canva.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align web designs with overall marketing strategies and brand guidelines.
  • Translate complex product offerings into user-friendly web experiences that communicate the value and functionality of our products.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure our websites are accessible across various devices and platforms.
  • Continuously iterate and improve web designs based on user feedback, analytics, and marketing objectives.
  • Implement SEO best practices in website development, including schema markup, meta tags, and accessibility standards.
  • Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Use Webflow's CMS capabilities to create manageable and scalable websites for clients.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and features in Webflow and the broader web development community to suggest and implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in Webflow and Figma.
  • Understanding of UI/UX and responsive design principles and a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a remote team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationales.
  • A collaborative spirit and openness to feedback and new ideas.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
  • Ability to work with APIs and understand web security principles.
  • Experience with website optimization tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding one or more web development frameworks and libraries such as React or Angular.
  • Knowledge of server-side technologies such as Node.js or Django.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of databases (SQL, MongoDB).

  • We reward our employees. The base salary range for this position is between $105,000-$135,000 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
