The Role:
Our applications make millions of dollars available to employees every day preventing late fees, use of predatory lending, and offering clarity into earned wages. We plan on being around for a long time and are investing in a platform to sustain that: tools to support the deployment, uptime, and reliability of other teams’ services.
You’ll work alongside team members to improve how other developers deploy and access their services, how we move data across our platform, and how we automate operations to enable future scale.

How You Will Make an Impact:
- Building and maintaining applications and infrastructure that support our data services in areas like data pipelines and analysis, and machine learning.
- Work on a wide variety of new, exciting, and challenging projects and technologies to grow and scale DailyPay efficiently.
- Growing in your knowledge and capabilities to contribute even more to our platform.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Demonstrated proficiency writing maintainable, high quality, robust code in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, Python, Ruby, Javascript, or similar.
- At least two years of experience developing applications and their deployment mechanisms, including testing, scaling, and monitoring.
- Some familiarity with Infrastructure like Databases, API Layers, Load Balancers, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- A critical eye, a curious nature, and a voracious appetite to learn.
Nice to Haves:
- Understanding of Agile or Kanban / Lean software development methodologies
- Experience with Go.
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, cloud formation, terraform, etc.
- Experience in apps using Kafka or other event stream/message broker platforms.

Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation in addition to stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills and internal equity.
