About your role:
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Electron App, you’ll have a huge impact on our product and direction. You’ll be working with our product team to craft great user experiences around the magic our AI creates. The team is collaborative but highly autonomous working environment in which each member has a defined role with clear expectations, as well as the freedom to pursue individual projects.
What you'll do:
- Play a substantial role in the Cresta app engineering team.
- Work with Cresta product and engineering teams, build and continuously improve the Cresta app to support new product requirements.
- Stay closely with customers and their requirements, analyze the technical tradeoffs, own the customer facing deliverables.
- Optimize the app framework design for user experience, development velocity, and resource consumption.
- Demonstrate the engineering best practices in deliverables and daily work. Uphold others to the same high standards.
- Grow into technical ownership in a substantial part of the Cresta product.
- Contribute to building the best-in-class product and the best-in-class company.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in relevant domains.
- Proficient in Electron based application development.
- Proficient in designing and maintaining a clear desktop app architecture.
- Proficient in navigating complex customer / business requirements and fulfilling those requirements with app updates.
- Experience in Windows operating system and its development environment.
- Experience in full life cycles of desktop apps, including architecture design, feature implementation, release management, system migration, etc.
- Experience in designing and maintaining clear and robust REST API.
- Experience with one of the major VDI software providers.
