Quality Assurance Engineering Lead

What does a successful Quality Assurance Engineering Lead do at Fiserv?

You will ensure the quality of end-to-end acquiring solutions for clients in the LATAM and Caribbean region. You will build multi-system test environments, create automated test suites, and enforce QA governance.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and execute reusable and maintainable testing plans, and scripts during the functional and end-to-end testing of acquiring solution
• Establish and maintain thorough, accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights
• Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards
• Provide test related technical direction and project management within the team and provide guidance in methodology selection, project planning, the review of work products
• Work closely with Technical Business Analysts, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and other departments (operations, support, and IT)
• Prioritize the competing needs of ongoing projects and ensure the delivery of client committed projects and client satisfaction
• Maintain budget and proactively allocate resources and time for the various ongoing testing projects and conduct system diagnostic analysis to identify areas for continuous improvements and resolve complex software issues

What you will need to have:

• 7+ years of professional experience as a software test engineer or software developer
• 7+ years of experience with programming languages such as COBOL, Java, C#, and JavaScript), and software testing tools, such as Selenium, JIRA, Jenkins, and Postman
• 7+ years of experience with various types of testing including functional, performance, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability
• 5+ years of experience testing data, setting up test environments, and utilizing mobile applications, microservices, and distributed systems
• 3+ years of experience in scheme certifications, API testing with authorizations, and clearing and settlement
• 3+ years of experience in SDET/QA methodology and software development processes (Agile, Scrum)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, military, or work experience

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
