Senior Full Stack Engineer, Investigator

As a Senior FullStack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and architecture of the backend systems that power our products and services. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of backend engineers, guiding their work, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions. Your deep understanding of SaaS and cloud technologies, combined with your leadership skills, will be vital in shaping the future of Corelight's Open NDR SaaS Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React on the front end and Python on the back end.
• Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Integrate GraphQL APIs for efficient data fetching and manipulation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Work closely with offshore teams on various development projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong appreciation and support for our core values: low ego results, tireless service, and applied curiosity.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React and Python.
• Experience working with UX Design Teams.
• Experience building REST APIs / GraphQL to support a rich data-heavy visual user interface. 
• Knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience adopting & using Agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication skills. You thrive by collaborating with multiple teams and use your communication skills to influence product directions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized microservices
• Knowledge of Network-based Security Detections and Attack techniques desirable.
• Experience with Search and Analytics tools like Splunk, Elasticsearch etc. 
• Experience working in a distributed team.
