We are seeking Full Stack Software Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies.
As our Engineering Manager, you will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and multiple teams of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices, and full stack systems to create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company. You will share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code. You will lead the collaboration with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of customers achieve financial empowerment
We utilize a wide range of programming languages and developer tools like Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 9 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 4 year experience with AWS cloud computing with specific emphasis on serverless architecture using Lambdas, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM
- At least 4 years of people management experience in an Agile environment
- Experience with some combination of programming languages: Python, Golang, NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript
- Experience designing and building REST APIs
- Knowledge of GraphQL
- A background in leading and influencing end to end application architecture, design and implementation
- Expertise in NoSQL and Graph Databases (Neptune, GraphDB, Neo4j, DynamoDB)
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to foster a culture of TDD and BDD
- Utilization of observability tools like Splunk and New Relic
