Engineer 2, Product

Location: Dong Nai, Vietnam

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for Process/Product engineering and documentation, methods analysis/improvements, machines layout and equipment acquisition, preparation of equipment justification and appropriation request development, and maintenance of manufacturing information and Statistical process control systems, providing analytical troubleshooting leadership, and leading projects designed to improve efficiencies, assure quality and reduce costs. Hands-on to involve process and production activity is a must.
• Also responsible for carrying out special assignment in compliance with government regulatory, Agencies, developing company health and safety policies, marketing and customer services.
   

Education & Experience

• BS degree in engineering or sciences, prefer from the field of: Optics Fabrication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2 years working experience in manufacturing & process engineering; working in an optics manufacturing environment or a highly technical, quality oriented, high volume, light-manufacturing environment.
   

Skills

• Experience in well-developed fault isolation, problem solving & analytical skills.
• Methodize and improve production processes.
• Experience in designing tools and fixture for optical testing systems.
• Do P-FMEA, SPC and other statistical methods is a plus
• Experience in using AutoCAD (SolidWorks is an advantage)
• Ability to use English for Business communication. 
• Mandarin as the 3rd language is an advantage.
