Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Brazil Engineering is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to work with Software Development and Qualification Process, reporting directly to the Integrated Simulation and Modeling & Systems Engineering Tools Manager of Boeing Brazil, São Jose dos Campos site. 

Position Responsibilities:

•    Lead Software Development and Tool Qualification activities through standards for Aircraft Systems Development for several programs.
•    Drive continual improvement in solutions sets to Development and Derivative Programs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

•    In-depth experience with Software Development for Aircraft Systems
•    Experience with Qualification Processes (DO-178B/C, DO-330)
•    Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
•    Must have a Bachelor Degree in engineering
•    Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)
•    Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
•    Able to travel both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

•    Experience in coding (at least one coding programming language, as C, C++, Python, Java, etc.)
•    Experience with interface management and networking protocols
•    Familiarity with systems and/or software engineering
•    Familiarity with ARP-4754
