You will join our engineering team and work closely with the product team, understand the customer needs, and deliver a solution to the customers with high quality. Apart from domain skills, what we truly value are strong generalists: those with the critical thinking skills to use a variety of technologies & languages and the ability to pick up new concepts when needed. We deliver well-tested, high-quality code in a continuous delivery environment.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality code that is maintainable, reliable, efficient, and secure;
• Improve and extend the existing system to support our ambitious business expansion plans;
• Evaluate and improve existing applications for security, resiliency, scalability and maintainability;
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits;

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of modern Javascript (ES6+) and experience with at least one modern web framework (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.);
• Understanding of the frontend development lifecycle from planning to testing, deployment, and maintenance;
• Experience building customer-facing products as part of an engineering team;
• Ability to pick up new concepts and ideas rapidly coupled with a continuous learning drive;
• Team-oriented. You are inspired & motivated by the energy & ideas of teammates;
• Results driven. You don’t want to just write code, you want to ship code that is loved by customers;

Nice to have

• Experience with React and core libraries such as React Router, Redux, React hooks;
• Experience improving front end performance using technologies such as server side rendering, code splitting, lazy loading, etc.;
• Consolidated knowledge of styling using CSS/SCSS;
• Experience with middleware frameworks such as Nodejs, Flask, Django, PHP, or Ruby on Rails;
• Knowledge of automated testing such as jest, playwright and code module tools such as Webpack, ESlint, prettier
• Experience with sophisticated CI/CD platforms such as Gitlab, and orchestration tools such as Jenkins and Kubernetes
