THE ROLE: 
We are looking for a BIOS Technical Leader with a passion for firmware. As part of this role, you will work closely with other firmware engineers, developers, and architects from various function teams (e.g., AGESA/GPU/Core team, etc.) to coordinate with team members to design and implement platform firmware across all AMD rack levels, covering pre-chip and post-chip phases. 


THE PERSON: 
You are passionate about firmware development with creative and effective problem-solving skills, a motivated, self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively in fast paced environments. You have excellent technical communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Offering an in-depth technical analysis and support.

Follow up with AGESA to push forward CPU insight patched validation on a compute tray.

Participate firmware dev and status to align with front end FW-TPM schedule

Provide consultation to internal and external clients regarding AMD feature and programming requirements.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

- 8+ years of BIOS experience.

- Experience with BMC SoC and embedded Linux feature implement.

- Familiarity with x86 architecture.

- Strong experience with AMI or EDK2 Firmware architecture.

- Strong experience with RAS.

- Ability to view BIOS source code and discuss technical issues with BIOS engineers.


ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 
Bachelors or Masters degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
