Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components to understand their structure and functionality. The role includes designing solutions tailored to client needs, writing and testing code to ensure quality and performance, and performing ongoing maintenance and enhancements to improve system reliability and efficiency. Collaboration with different teams and adapting to evolving project requirements are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that software components meet client expectations and operate seamlessly within the broader application environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to maintain smooth progress.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding their development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables effectively.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Experience in managing system landscapes, including installation, configuration, and upgrades of SAP environments.
- Strong knowledge of system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within SAP Basis.
- Familiarity with database administration and backup strategies related to SAP systems.
- Ability to handle transport management and system security administration.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our BDC6F - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
