Zscaler Data Protection & Endpoint Security team is committed to develop a solution that monitors files leaving the corporate network or computers and prevents data theft and accidental data exposure and detecting malicious applications exfiltrating or corrupting sensitive data. The solution is scalable and simple to operate and enhances the Zscaler Zero Trust platform to Windows and macOS Endpoints.

The job includes designing, developing, fixing, debugging, and improving the Windows kernel drivers, and applying windows internals and function hooking to enhance the Zscaler Data Protection and Endpoint security solution.

You will be based in our Ramat Gan office and report to the Director, Engineering, who is also based in Israel.

Requirements

 
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Physics or Electrical Engineering

  • 12 plus years of software engineering and C/C++ experience

  • 5 or more years of Windows kernel development

  • Work in at least one Cyber Security company.

  • Experience in Data Protection, User Identity or Endpoint Security (EDR, AV, HIPS).

  • Experience with large-scale systems with Fortune 500 customers.

  • Experience in customer-facing troubleshooting sessions - advantage.

  • Knowledge of MITRE Attack and Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework - advantage

 

Responsibilities

  • You will design and develop Windows kernel drivers to detect process and DLL loading.

  • You will architect and write code to Monitor Windows file system and OS events to identify suspicious process activities.

  • Analyze core dumps to detect BSOD root-causes.

  • Perform Research and Investigation to understand how specific applications behave (for example: how copy & paste into WhatsApp.exe works)

  • Collaborate with team members to develop cross team features.

  • You will test new software and fix bugs.

  • Read and review code from other developers to reduce bugs, improve implementations, and expand your knowledge.
