Our Customer Success Strategy & Operations team uses valuable data and market research to help our customers succeed and drive value. Our teams collaborate to identify solutions using competitor and industry trend analysis, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. We're responsible for facilitating smooth transitions during organizational change efforts that promote employee adoption. You'll help solve challenges faced by our teams to help make Zscaler more efficient in meeting our customers' needs.

We are looking for an experienced Director of Business Intelligence. You will manage our data and analytics assets, driving streamlined processes, developing a team of analysts and developers, and facilitating the analysis of data with decision makers in the company to ensure that information gathering and analysis help develop business strategies. This role is remote within the U.S. You will report to the VP of this department.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a crucial role in leadership discussions, generating value through strategic measurement and interpretation of business strategies. Offer applicable recommendations to use insights, standardize metrics, and develop tools and data products.
  • Lead a high-performing team, promoting career growth, and integrating analytics throughout the organization.
  • Guide the transformation towards a data-driven culture, enhancing data capabilities, and ensuring delivery of insights and actions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define requirements for technology and reporting solutions that improve results.
  • Partner with change management and support resources to promote adoption of new BI solutions, presenting recommendations to enhance decision-making.
  • Operationalize insights through the development of user-friendly dashboards/tools and processes.
  • Deliver concise and practical recommendations.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks and maintain productivity.

What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications):

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data science, or related role
  • Proficiency with Tableau
  • Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts, SQL and Cloud platform technologies
  • Verbal, written, technical and presentation skills that can influence partners and stakeholders, both internal and external to the team
  • Strategic hands-on problem solver who will get into the data to improve results

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience with a secondary business intelligence tool such as Domo, PowerBI, Qlik, Spotfire, or Looker
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
  • Business/Computer Science/IT or related field

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$168,000$240,000 USD
