As a System Integration & Validation (SIV) Intern on the Firmware team, you will design, develop, and execute testing at the highest level of integration. You will develop test plans and test cases for feature verification and validation. You will gain experience analyzing vehicle logs and test data using in-house tools to trace failures for root cause analysis. You will also have an opportunity to define, document, and track entrance and exit criteria for milestone readiness, working cross-functionally to verify and validate new features for safety and comfort. 

Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements

  • Working towards a degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline
  • Experience with AI, autonomous behavior, modeling, simulation, vehicle platforms, and/or test engineering
  • Experience with issue reporting tools (e.g. Jira, Atlassian tools, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience with communication busses (e.g. CAN, ethernet, etc.)
  • Scripting experience with Python
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Experience with a business intelligence tool (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
  • Experience with Linux and Unix-based systems
  • Experience with CI/CD applications and best practices
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
