Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Customer Targeting team.

The team builds and maintains data pipelines and applications that enable marketing campaigns across multiple channels. We work with behavioural and analytical data, audience management, and integrations with external marketing platforms.

You'll join an international team of engineers across Poland, Spain, Austria, and India, working on systems that process large volumes of data and support marketing activities across multiple markets.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and data-driven systems.
  • Build new features and improve existing products and infrastructure.
  • Design and operate microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Contribute to technical and architectural discussions and decisions.
  • Take ownership of software quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle with a "you build it, you run it" mindset.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams and locations, sharing knowledge through code reviews and pair programming.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong expertise in Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
  • Experience designing and operating microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, including services such as S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, and IAM.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including automated testing, clean code, and SOLID principles.
  • Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Comfortable working in an Agile, cross-functional environment with a strong sense of ownership

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Experience with Terraform and Helm.
  • Previous experience in a Tech Lead or technical leadership role.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
