Software Engineer

About the Team:

With eight specialized departments, the engineering team functions as a highly collaborative, diverse powerhouse. Each department mission is to deliver seamless and innovative communication solutions. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement CI/CD. Operate and maintain Linux operating system (Ubuntu, CentOS). 

• Develop scripting languages such as Shell and Python. Administer database (MySQL, Oracle) and Docker & Kubernetes. Develop and maintain Jenkins, Git, Maven and Ansible. 

• Design and develop various operation and maintenance tools, realizing operation and maintenance automation, and improve operation and maintenance production efficiency. 

What we're looking for:

• Requires an Associate’s degree in Computer Network Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, a related field, or a foreign equivalent.

• Must have 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupation. 

• Must have 5 years of experience in daily operation and maintenance operations, server monitoring, troubleshooting, and emergency handling; CI / CD implementation; software operation monitoring, server automation script development; building and maintaining a development and testing environment to assist in the development and completion of system setup; designing and developing various operation and maintenance tools, realizing operation and maintenance automation, and improving operation and maintenance production efficiency; operation and maintenance management of Linux operating system (Ubuntu, CentOS); Jenkins, Git, Maven; and at least one database management and operation and maintenance experience (MySQL, Oracle). 

• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
