Summary:

We are looking for a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead, manage, and grow our engineering teams and help shape our culture. We utilize machine-learning and deep-learning to find the best candidates for a job, and get the job information to reach the candidate as quickly as possible to allow the employer to reach the best candidates in the least possible time.

As a Sr. Engineering Manager you will be leading several engineering teams and Sr. Engineers.  You’ll support your teams as they work through challenges building and maintaining sophisticated software applications at scale. You’ll be acting as a coach and mentor, providing feedback, and helping them learn and grow. You’ll also be staying current with development and product technologies through your own contributions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead, and align a group of managers and engineers to deliver product features
  • Support your teams and managers through regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring, and by promoting learning and development
  • Help continuously improve our engineering processes and practices
  • Stay current with the product’s technology, and what your team members are using, through individual development contributions as needed
  • Drive strategic planning together with Product and various partner teams,

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of managing managers and leading large software development teams
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Formal CS education or experience working as a software engineer at highly selective companies
  • Experience operating in global environment and working with teams across multiple geographies
  • Hands-On experience with several of these technologies - Spark, Flink, Airflow, Kafka, Key/Value Stores, Elastic-Search
  • Dealing with data on high volume, high availability production systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSc. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, related technical field
  • Experience growing a team, both in terms of numbers and capabilities
  • Experience working with a cloud provider (AWS preferred)
  • Experience with Machine learning
